I have a ton of grey (probably about 70%), and not very thick hair. I dye my hair usually with a mix of 3N and 4N hair dye (ie. very dark brown). I ordered the "ash brown" color and I'm quite pleased with it! You can see in my attached photo (the before is on the left, if that needs clarification....) that just dabbing on a little bit really helped conceal all the thin spots. I didn't try to completely cover up all of my skin that was showing, as I think that would look super unnatural, but I just covered enough so it doesn't draw as much attention. I thought it was a success!

I've also used this when wearing my hair down, the last week before I dye it each month I have a lot of grey roots showing. I use an eyeshadow brush (not included) to apply it to my root line (being careful not to apply it to my scalp where my hair part is), and it really helps camouflages the greys. It does NOT completely hide them, but it definitely helps blend them.

This is a very matte product and you do want to use it sparingly for the best result. When I wear my hair up, I apply it all along my hairline, not just on the thin parts, so there's not just random matte splotches, it all just blends together better. And it lasts until I was my hair (48 hours later). Very pleased with it and would recommend!

First things first: hair loss is awful and there really isn't any perfect solution but this one is pretty darn good.
I dearly miss being able to spring out of bed, brush my hair, toss it in a pony and go, not giving my hair a second throughout the day. But that ship has sailed. I've been dealing with hair loss for about 5 years, I lose about a third to half of my hair and then it starts growing back and then it falls out again. During the worst periods this would not work for me, it's either a hat or a topper wig. But, when it's starting to grow back in, it's sparse but with new baby hairs, this is a miracle. I hate wearing toppers, they're hot and give me headaches and unfortunately I'm not someone who looks good in hats. But this stuff is the closest I think I'll get back to those glorious carefree days.
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I'm delighted with it. I found a recommendation from the company that is absolutely key, you have to set it with hair spray. Once it's set it hasn't budged from sweat or rubbed off on my pillowcase, clothes, hands, etc. I don't wash my hair every day and this has been going the 3 days between washes no problem.

Love this for my touch ups and in between retouch appointments. Product is similar consistency to eyeshadow powder, Match your color to your natural at roots. This helps to cover and diminish the harsh contrast of any stray grays. Put it on your scalp close to your hairline or wherever you would like to blend your color. If you are thinning, this also helps cover the appearance and make your hair look fuller. My stylist says it's a good color match and does look natural. It washes off easily with shampooing and I apply whenever I feel the need. Application is topical so I did not have any concerns.
